Description

Adapted this recipe to make the best Fajita's around.

Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 4 clove minced garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 cloves
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 4 tbsp lime juice (2 fresh limes is better)
  • 3-4 oz chipotle chiles in adobo
  • 12 oz flat iron steak
  • Final Construction Ingredients
  • 8 medium tortilla
  • 1 iceberg lettuce
  • 2 onions
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 guacamole
  • 12 oz mexican cheese mix
Instructions
    Marinade
  1. To make the adobo sauce combine vinegar, limejuice, chipotles, garlic, cumin, oregano, black pepper, salt and cloves in a blender or processor on high speed until smooth.
  2. Pour into 1 gallon zip lock baggie and add bay leaves.
  3. Rinse and pat dry flat iron steak
